Why did the flower go back to sleep?
Some days ago, a stunning flower peeped out from the lush green grass. Its petals were of a vibrant hue and its pollen was as delicate as newly fallen snowflakes. It stood tall with pride, gazing into the distance until it noticed the notice-board nearby. Upon reading its contents, it felt immense sorrow for the children that would be affected by this news. The flower could not bear to witness their grievances and so it slowly retreated back into the ground and went off to sleep, dreaming of a better tomorrow for all those in need.
What do the flowers symbolize in this story?
If we look at the title of the story, âThe Flowersâ, it is clear that flowers are used to represent childhood innocence and its eventual loss. Alice Walker uses this symbolism throughout her short story; when Myop finds a dead body in the woods, she views it as a kind of tragedy because it symbolizes the end of her innocence. This can also be seen in how Walker has named Myop â short for âMyopiaâ - which implies a lack of vision or lack of insight into what is happening around her and an inability to cope with real life tragedies. The use of flowers as symbols not only adds meaning to the story but also helps convey feelings such as sadness and nostalgia for times gone by. As Myop discovers more about the world outside her sheltered home life, she gradually loses her childhood innocence and learns to accept reality however harsh it may be.

If youâre a fan of British dark comedy then The Favourite is for you. Directed by Yorgos Lanthimos, this movie stars the highly acclaimed Olivia Colman as Queen Anne, and follows her relationship with two ambitious courtiers Sarah Churchill (Rachel Weisz) and Abigail Masham (Emma Stone). This film is an emotional freight train that moves through sadness and humour seamlessly - it isnât afraid to explore the darker aspects of life. Colman delivers a captivating performance as she plays an unpleasant woman who rules over England in 1708. Her powerful presence on screen allows viewers to be drawn into the world of scheming courtiers vying for favouritism during Queen Anne's reign. While some of the scenes are quite funny, they never detract from the underlying emotion or deeper message behind them; making The Favourite one of 2018âs most talked about films.

What happens to Shun in Flowers?
Usually, when a series progresses, the characters and their circumstances start to change. This is certainly true of Shun, the main character in this series. As the show continues, we see him become more and more unhinged - his behavior becoming increasingly erratic and unpredictable, as if he has lost his grip on reality. At the same time, it seems that he is slowly being forgotten by those around him - they seem less affected by his presence than before and don't appear to care what happens to him as much anymore. It's a devastating combination that leads to an uncertain ending for Shun - where will this all take him? The final episode of the show provides us with some answers; it acts both as an epilogue of sorts for Shun's journey throughout the series so far, but also serves as a prologue for when he first met 'the Flowers' at the beginning of everything. Through this conclusion we learn something vital about each of them - from their pasts to their hopes and dreams for the future.
What does Shun write in Flowers?
If there was ever a moment that defined Shun's outlook on life and death, it was the one where he told Maurice in his broken English: âYou help me start again, because you feel ... difference.â It truly felt like a moment of enlightenment for him, as he tried to come to terms with the fact that life and death are both so small, but so big at the same time. He felt an understanding that even something as seemingly insignificant as a single life can have such a profound impact on someone else's life; indeed, it can be held within your hands. This powerful realization came just before the closing credits rolled and Shun's illustrations were revealed for all to see.

What lesson do we learn from the flowers?
It is undeniable that flowers bring us a sense of joy, spiritual peace and relaxation. Their presence has the power to fill our hearts with positivity, allowing us to reach a state of inner calmness when we take in their scent. Despite the beauty they offer, these lovely creatures never ask for anything in return. Whether we choose to nurture them or simply let them fade away into oblivion, they will continue to bring us solace even as their petals start to wither and turn brown. The selfless nature of flowers is something that should be celebrated and appreciated by all those who have been blessed enough to experience it.
What is the ultimate goal of the flower?
Not only are flowers beautiful to look at, but they are also essential for the reproduction of plants. Most flowers rely on pollination by animals such as bees, flies, butterflies and hummingbirds in order to produce a seed and continue their species. These pollinators will collect nectar from the flower which is full of sugars that give them energy while they travel from plant to plant. When an animal visits a flower it collects some of the pollen which has proteins that can be used by the flower's reproductive cells and help them create new seeds. This process ensures that plants can keep reproducing and allows us to enjoy their beauty year after year!
How old is MYOP in the flowers?
While going on her usual walk in the woods, Myop is faced with a harsh reality she has never seen before. On this particular day, she discovers the body of an African-American man who had been lynched by a group of white men. The sight of his lifeless body and its gruesome circumstances shocks Myop and scares her deeply, causing her to lose her innocence. She flees from the scene quickly and decides to no longer explore the âsecretsâ that nature has to offer; instead, she takes solace in playing innocent games like jump rope. Alice Walker's "The Flowers" tells a thought-provoking story about coming of age and loss of innocence through ten year old Myop's experience in nature. While out exploring one day, Myop encounters something profoundly disturbing - an African-American man who has been brutally murdered by hanging. This horrific event shakes up her world completely and causes her to lose all sense of childhood innocence as she runs away from the scene in fear. The traumatic experience leaves such an indelible impression on Myop that it forces her to abandon any further exploration into nature's secrets, replacing them instead with simpler activities like playing jump rope which are more suitable for someone so young as herself.
What mental illness does Amy Flowers have?
Usually when I'm researching any kind of role, I like to talk to people who have actually experienced it. For the series Flowers, I wanted to make sure that my portrayal of Amy's bipolar disorder was as accurate and honest as possible. To do this, I met with the charity Mind and had a really insightful conversation with them and another young girl who had been diagnosed with bipolar disorder. We discussed how she coped on a day-to-day basis, what her triggers were, how medication helped her manage it better - all sorts of things. It was an amazing opportunity to gain first hand knowledge; one which made playing the role much easier because it gave me a real insight into Amy's experience.
